Crowdsourcing in Graphics and Vision

Several recent advances in deep learning were brought in parallel with new developments in crowdsourcing for labeled data acquisition. We are trying to go farther and develop full applications based on crowdsourcing that alleviate the shortcomings of current image and video production pipelines which still require intensive human labor. We are developing new algorithms that leverage the power of the crowd while coping with the heterogeneity of distributed human work to ensure results comparable to that of professional artists (e.g. in the VFX industry).
